This qualification develops the learner’s knowledge, understanding and skills in delivering first aid in an outdoor environment. This qualification meets the requirements for Emergency First Aid at Work as outlined in the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982.
It also meets sports and outdoor industry NGB requirements.

This comprehensive two-day course covers a wide range of First Aid emergencies, enabling all participants to deal with emergency situations with confidence in a prompt, safe and effective way, particularly where professional medical help is not immediately available.
There is sufficient content in this course to satisfy the requirements of the HSE in respect of Emergency First Aid at Work.
An additional certificate can be provided to evidence this to an employer.
